UPCOMING 2017 WORKSHOPS —

October 1 – Study in Simplicity Workshop
Georgia O’Keeffe drew and painted natural forms, simplifying and abstracting the shapes. In this workshop, look carefully at natural items like shells, bones and plants and draw one with pastels.

November 5 – Build a Bag Workshop
Artist Georgia O’Keeffe and Reynolda House owner Katharine Smith Reynolds both sewed their own clothing. Practice sewing construction by creating a small draw-string bag, decorated with a permanent leaf print.

December 3 – Holiday Tour and Cardmaking
This traditional, annual workshop offers an opportunity to learn about holiday stories at Reynolda and make one-of-a-kind cards on the printing press and with our classic hand-carved stamps.
