Reynolda House Museum of American Art’s Cinema Under the Stars outdoor movie program has long set the standard for summer movie experiences in the Piedmont Triad. - Yes! Weekly

The ninth annual Cinema Under the Stars promises strange encounters in city, surf, and outer space. Scream along to creature features Jaws and Close Encounters of the Third Kind and sing along to inhumanly entertaining musicals Cabaret and An American in Paris. Films are shown on the front lawn; in case of rain films are shown in the Babcock Auditorium. Beer and wine will be available for purchase, and filmgoers are encouraged to arrive early and picnic on the lawn. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! Co-presented by the School of Filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
