ABOUT ABOUT

The Museum is selling advance tickets for admission to The Artist's Garden :American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887-1920  in the exclusive "First Bloom" advanced ticket package that includes the exhibition catalog.

The hardcover, 230-page exhibition catalog, which includes Reynolda House Museum of American Art among its select venues listing, features dozens of stunning Impressionist images along with essays by some of the most respected scholars in the field. The book was hailed by one reviewer as “the definitive work tracing the reciprocal influences of artists and the garden movement during the Progressive Era in America, just as European Impressionism reached our shores."

The “First Bloom” promotion includes two package options: a $60 ticket that includes admission for two adults and one copy of the catalog, and a $45 ticket that includes admission for one adult and one copy of the catalog. Both options include 6.75% N.C. Sales Tax, and reflect a savings of approximately 25% over face value. A limited number of packages will be available, based on catalog availability. Museum admission is regularly $14 for adults and includes admission to The Artist's Garden :American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887-1920 .

The “First Bloom” ticket packages will go on sale through the museum’s website at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, and be available while supplies last or until 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, the day before the exhibition opens to the public. Tickets purchased through the package may be presented for admission at any time during the exhibition period, Oct. 3 through Jan. 3, during museum hours. Exhibition catalogs may be picked up at Reynolda House at the time of visit.

There will be no refunds issued after Oct 3. Catalogs must be picked up at the Museum between Oct 3, 2015 and January 3, 2016 during Museum hours.
