$8 members/$10 non-members per person; art materials are provided. Registration required as class enrollment is limited; register here or call  336.758.5599.

These two-hour workshops begin at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of each month for children in 1st through 6th grades, accompanied by an adult.

Every three children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Please buy one ticket per participant (one for each child and adult attending the workshop).

March 6--Grow a Garden
Katharine Smith Reynolds wanted a greenhouse at Reynolda to grow plants throughout the year. Following this idea, create your own mini-terrarium and a figurine to inhabit it.
 
April 3--Get in the Zone: Grayscale Mixed Media Landscape Collage
Make your own mixed-media collage in black, white and gray, inspired by Ansel Adams’s careful photographic compositions.ray.
 
May 1--Frame that Photo Workshop

Build a simple picture frame and embellish it with natural materials—some of which you can collect from Reynolda’s grounds! Participants will also take photographs while we explore the Reynolda landscape.
 
June 5--Solar Printing on Fabric

Don’t have a darkroom? Don’t worry. Learn about simple photographic process while making a solar print with photo-sensitive fabric dye. Bring your own T-shirt or tote bag to print upon.
